We protested at Pride Park, Derby on 15th March, for the Women’s League Cup Final between @CFC_Women and @ManCityWomen.

The @FA are still banning young girls for knowing men aren’t women and shouldn’t be playing on women’s teams.

We KNOW women and girls are made for the women’s game.

Is it fair to ban a player for 6 matches for telling the truth?

The Football Association recently held a disciplinary hearing for a 17 year old girl, because she questioned if a 6” man with a beard - playing on the opposing team - was a man.

The young girl spoke to the referee at half time about her “concern for [my] safety after suffering a number of overly physical challenges” already in the game.

She was reported by the opposing team to Kick It Out, who referred it to the FA but did not invite the young woman to give her side. The FA convened a National Serious Case Panel who found her guilty of ‘discrimination’ and gave her a 6-match ban.

It is already insulting that men take women’s places in sports and put them in danger on the field and in the changing rooms.

Do you think it is fair to punish a woman for daring to question if a man….is a man?
